Return Policy

Thank you for choosing TanMate. We want you to love your tanning jumpsuit, so please read our returns and refunds policy below.

1. Change of Mind Returns

For hygiene reasons, we do not accept change-of-mind returns on TanMate tanning jumpsuits once the packaging has been opened.

If the product is unopened, unused, and in its original packaging, you may return it within 14 days of receiving it.

Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.

2. Faulty or Defective Items

Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a replacement or refund if your product is faulty.

If your TanMate jumpsuit arrives:

  • Faulty
  • Damaged
  • Not functioning as described

We will offer one of the following:

✔ Replacement

✔ Exchange

✔ Full refund

You must notify us within 7 days of receiving your order and provide photo or video evidence.

3. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned unless they are faulty:

  • Opened or used tanning jumpsuits
  • Sale/clearance items
  • Items damaged due to misuse, wear and tear, or improper care

4. Refund Process

Once your return is approved and the product is received back in original condition, refunds will be processed to your original payment method.

Please allow 3–10 business days for the funds to appear.

Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the item was faulty.

5. How to Lodge a Return

6. Exchanges

Exchanges are available for unopened products and subject to stock availability.

If the item you want is unavailable, we will issue a refund or store credit.


1. TanMate Warranty Statement

TanMate Warranty – 30 Day Manufacturer’s Warranty

Your TanMate tanning jumpsuit is covered by a 30-day manufacturer’s warranty from the date of purchase.

This warranty covers:

  • Faulty stitching
  • Manufacturing defects
  • Material faults not caused by wear and tear

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse or improper care
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Stains or discolouration from tanning products
  • Damage from washing that does not follow our care instructions

2. TanMate Care Guide – How to Look After Your Tanning Jumpsuit

To keep your TanMate in perfect condition and prolong its life, follow these care instructions:

After Tanning

  • Allow tan to fully dry before putting on your jumpsuit.
  • Avoid sitting on rough surfaces to prevent pilling.

Washing Instructions

  • Hand wash only in cold water.
  • Use mild detergent (no bleach, no harsh chemicals).
  • Do not machine wash or tumble dry.

Drying

  • Air dry in shade.
  • Do not wring or twist.
  • Avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading.

Storing

  • Hang or fold neatly.
  • Keep away from sharp objects/zippers/jewellery that could snag the fabric.

Do Not

  • Do NOT iron
  • Do NOT bleach
  • Do NOT dry clean
  • Do NOT machine dry

Proper care will help your TanMate last longer and keep its softness and protective feel.
